The ENG / VNG is typically done in three parts…Patients will be asked to watch a screen with moving lights in a sitting and lying position. Then a person’s balance i tested where both cooled and warmed air will be blown into the patient’s ear. To do an ENG/VNG takes about an hour and is pain-free.
